A Quick Introduction

I’m the solo developer behind Nightbyte. Everything here starts with a simple spark of curiosity: can I make something surprising out of simple parts? My projects tend to blend systems, puzzles, and building blocks—stuff you can tinker with and reshape.

Games: Management sims, playful sandboxes, and logic-driven worlds you can poke and prod.
For Developers: Tools, snippets, and straightforward resources designed to help others prototype and build.
Side Quests: Occasionally, experiments for the sake of pure exploration—or just because something seemed fun at 2am.

How I Work

Systems-first, but accessible: Good design lets you play without a manual, but leaves room for discovery if you dive deeper.
Transparency: I value clear docs, helpful hints, and visible rules—no smoke and mirrors.
Experimentation: Many ideas here began in game jams or late-night code sprints. Expect a few oddballs—and a lot of polish where it counts.

From the Mountains

Nightbyte operates solo from just above Cripple Creek, Colorado, tucked high in the Rockies—so high up it’s above the service ceiling for most small planes. My days are split between developing, building a house, and wrangling a handful of cats plus one overexcited black Lab, Ranger. Near off-grid life here shapes every project: it’s quiet, full of odd weather, and gives me the space to tinker, experiment, and stay curious.
